Hi friends!

Chag Sameach to those who celebrate, a belated happy solstice, happy new moon in Capricorn, and a very merry everything to y’all! I marked the solstice yesterday by baking cookies (browned butter & maple sugar shortbread!) and ended the evening with a small private ritual in which I did my annual Wheel of the Year tarot spread for the year ahead.*

With the shop closing tomorrow for the winter after months of hustle and bustle, I am reflecting on another year of challenges and rewards, another year of ebbs and flows… and I am leaning into this ebb. I feel the strong call to curl up with a pile of books and a cup of tea, to hibernate, to turn inward and reflect and plan (ever the Capricorn moon!)… and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to do so.

With the shop closing at 5 pm on Friday the 23rd, I will be OOO until January 9th— and I won’t be sharing daily tarot pulls on socials, responding to emails, filling orders in that time, etc. I am really excited about taking a proper vacation, and appreciate everyone’s patience during this time.

In fact, I really appreciate y’all all the time. Really, I am so incredibly thankful for each and every soul who support HWB in 2022, whether through your purchases or sharing a post or giving a positive review online. Thank you, for making another year of this magic possible!

With that, I wish you all a fabulous holiday season and a very happy new year— stay magic!

🖤

* I might share a post on that later, if inspired, but I may just not work at all while on vacation!
