Botanicals 101: Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris)

My sleep patterns have been a bit… lackluster lately, and in an effort to get a solid 8 hours, I’ve been relying heavily on my Headspace meditations, and reaching for Somnus dream balm! Made with Mugwort and Lavender, it can be rubbed into the temples, palms, and feet to aid in a deeper sleep.

Widely used in European folk medicine, Mugwort (Latin name: Artemisia vulgaris) is a digestive and purgative herb that is also said to induce prophetic dreams.
