Halloween Sale Returning in 2026

Halloween Sale Returning in 2026

The past year has brought many changes for Hedge Witch Botanicals— in addition to my stepping away from my position managing Chateau to focus on my business, we purchased a house with 26 acres of organic farmland in the sprawling hills of Madison County.1 The future home of Hedge Witch Farms, this move has been seismic for me as a human and for HWB as a business, and I am so excited about what the future holds.

We are in the process of incorporating the business, pursuing various certifications for wildlife refuge and biodiversity, and have plans to build a permanent workplace for both the apothecary and the future apiaries. There’s a lot going on over here.

All of that being said, moving my the studio and business has been a huge undertaking, and apothecary operations were on a temporary hiatus— and with a 4-6 week cure-time for all of my handmade soaps, this has left some serious gaps on my shelves. I apologize to all of my regulars and thank you for your patience, I know it’s been frustrating.

And I’m about to add to your frustration…

After 5 years of hosting this spooktacular event at Chateau, the Halloween Sale will be taking a year off. While I have absolutely loved the planning and execution of past sales, the logistics of organizing a multi-day event nearly 3 hours away as a solopreneur is too much for me to take on at this time. I’m hoping to bring the Halloween Sale back in 2026— with a few magical updates!

As a conciliation for my CNY friends, I will be participating in Hamilton’s Fall Fair on the 4th of October, and for my far-away friends, I am hustling to restock the online shop asap. I want to thank everyone in advance for your understanding, and look forward to making more magic together in the future!

  1. An aside: For those who read/watched A Discovery of Witches, yes, it’s that same Madison County!  ↩︎
