This is the second book I’ve read by Schwab, the first being her immensely popular The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, and Gallant carries with it her similar engaging, entertaining style. However, I am a particular fan of Gothic horror and haunted house stories, and so Gallant receives higher marks, in my own personal opinion. A quick and easy novel, I recommend this one for fans of a fun, horror-lite beach read.
