March is Women’s History Month in the US, and as a loud and avowed feminist, I’m more than happy to celebrate badass babes the world over!

I feel the need to preface any post on women’s history with this: trans-women are women. I have seen far too many TERFs in the witchy and wellness communities, and for any of those “gender critical” individuals out there who are centering their spiritual practices around “vagina magic,” etc., I implore you to check out this brilliant video from Contra Points. HWB supports #SistersNotCisters, and if you’re not down with that, kindly sod off. With that said…

Hooray ladies! HWB is an unabashedly intersectional feminist business, owned and operated by a woman, and a proud supporter of other woman-owned businesses. Check out my Tending the Hedge interview series, featuring femme and nonbinary magic-makers, and then shop for lady-made goods! Just a few of the feminist and woman-owned products you’ll find in the shop are…

Middle Dune is a woman-owned-and-operated small stationery and paper goods business based on Cape Cod, MA. I absolutely love the hand-bound letterpress journals (left), and the jotters are great for on-the-go note-taking!

Holly Oddly is a woman-owned-and-operated indie maker, and I’m thrilled to add her scratch-off fortunes (right) and divination coins to the shop this year!

A Fink & Ink is a woman-owned-and-operated business located in Minneapolis, and I absolutely looooove her adorable planchette pins!

Okay, so these are not made by a woman-owned business, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t share our Great Women Rulers series of rulers! They’re one of our best-sellers in-store, they make excellent gifts, and they’re educational to boot!

Josie of Tenderheart Studios is a self-identified “art witch, a student of the earth, [and] a queer leo goblin.” Why not send one of her gorgeous postcards to a fabulous femme in your life?

While not everyone with a uterus is a woman, and not every woman has a uterus, I did want to include this fabulous little zine from Catherine Marie Jeunet. Reclaiming Our Ancient Wisdom is a guide for trained and practiced herbalists and midwives to better serve the birthing-individuals of their communities, and $1 from every purchase of this zine will be donated to Yellowhammer Fund, a 501(c)3 abortion fund and reproductive justice organization serving Alabama and the Deep South.

And lastly, all HWB products are made by moi, a woman! Grab a bar of Abracadabra (left) or your favorite bath soaks and celebrate femme magic today!
