It’s time for some more solopreneur magic! After all of the hustle and bustle of an event like the 3rd Annual Halloween Sale, I find it is helpful to do a SWOT analysis while the event is still fresh in my mind. This sort of “post-mortem” analysis helps with planning future events, streamlining workflows, and collecting my thoughts overall. (What can I say? I’m a total Capricorn moon!) For those unfamiliar, a SWOT analysis is a personal assessment of the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats facing a business or endeavor. I’m sharing the template I use here, and invite folks to modify as needed. I really appreciate a radically honest assesment, as it will only help the project, but I also like to mix in some magic and mindfulness with a SWOT-inspired tarot spread! Journaling on what arises can be a very illuminating experience, and offers a lovely opportunity for mindfulness in my work.

  1. Strengths (internal)
  2. Weaknesses (internal)
  3. Opportunities (external)
  4. Threats (external)

Happy planning!
