Author Shelby Cohen to lead writing workshop March 25

Hedge Witch Botanicals is pleased to host author Shelby Cohen on Saturday, March 25 from 1 – 3 pm for a magical afternoon of creativity and craft! The Craft of Writing will guide participants through the fundamentals of form, writing as ritual, how to get published, and more in this 2-hour workshop. All supplies and light refreshments will be provided, and participants will leave with a handmade notebook for their personal use. Space is limited, and a $10 pre-registration is required.*

Shelby has worked for the past 24 years in corporate communications roles in the defense, technology, and energy industries. She wrote the Big Hungry Shelby upstate New York food blog for 10 years, wrote the Big Hungry Shelby food column for the Watertown Daily Times, and served as executive director of the Miss Thousand Islands Pageant, part of the Miss America Organization, for 20 years. She enjoys cooking and writing historic and magical realism fiction stories, and her first short story, “The Lady of Rever,” was published in All Worlds Wayfarer Literary Magazine last year.

We look forward to making magic together, and do hope that you will join us!

* Please contact HWB directly should you require no-questions-asked financial assistance to offset the cost of this workshop.
