For those interested in expanding their gardening knowledge, I am so pleased to share that my mother, aka the OG Hedge Witch, will be continuing her new educational workshops in our shared space at Chateau. (If you haven’t signed up for her first workshop on February 25, “Winter Sowing 101,” don’t miss out!)

The second in the series, “DIY Wildflower Seed Cakes,” will be held April 22 from 1-3 pm. From Chateau’s website:

Led by Chateau co-owner and avid gardener Susan Castle, participants will learn how to make wildflower seed cakes to promote pollinators and beautify our communities through native, non-invasive plants species. All supplies are included in the registration fee [$10]. Light refreshments will be served. Space is limited, and registration is required.

I have been privileged to grow up with a mother who invested in me a deep appreciation for the natural world around us, and her wealth of knowledge is incredible. I am proud to continue learning from her, and hope you will join me!
