Hi friends! This month has been quite busy— homeownership has come with a lot of joy, as well as several panicked trips to the hardware store and more than a few headaches. That said, I can’t imagine a more perfect place to lay the groundwork for Hedge Witch Farms. (Want to support the dream? Check out our new merch! The big news this month is that I have finally moved and unpacked my studio in the new house! It is a temporary location, as we have plans to build a separate workspace, but it feels so good to once again have my space to create. I will gradually be restocking the online store, but friends in the 1000 Islands region can still shop HWB goodies at Chateau in Cape Vincent, NY.

What I’m doing
Living on organic land, I have been so surprised by the biodiversity we see on a regular basis! This truly is not just farmland but a wildlife habitat, and just as I have at every home prior, I have become embroiled in the imagined dramas of the local wildlife. Currently I’m obsessed with the three hummingbirds that appear to be having a turf war over their new feeder (Big Orange is the most aggressive, while Lil Grey the most tentative).
