The Moon-thly: Full Moon in Sagittarius

The Moon-thly: Full Moon in Sagittarius

Hello friends! I’m not sure how the full moon always seems to suddenly sneak up on me, but this month seems to have flown by. In addition to farmers’ markets, I’ve been hustling to get my work into some local shops, and I’m hopeful that soon I can share a new stockist with y’all! (I’m excited about this one!) I’m balancing time spent in my studio making herbal goodies with time spent outside, savoring the start of summer. When we purchased our home last year it was too late in the season to establish much of a vegetable garden, and I satisfied myself with a few raised-bed planters. This year I expanded the growing area significantly, and the time spent with my hands in the dirt, planting each seed for future harvests, has been deeply nourishing in and of itself. In fact, the time spent doing has increased so much that time spent talking about it naturally diminishes, so this month’s moon-thly roundup is rather abbreviated.

As such, I’m thinking about discontinuing my full moon horoscopes— with only an amateur knowledge of astrology, they’re quite time consuming to produce, and I don’t want to have to rely on the dreaded AI beast to prop up my work. I’m sorry to all who have enjoyed them, but I think this may be the last month of horoscopes! Perhaps they will be replaced with something new and a bit more condensed, like a channeled monthly tarot reading— what are your thoughts? I’d really appreciate some feedback!

For now though, I’m happy to share a few tidbits I’ve consumed in the past moth…

What I’m reading

I have a few recent #spellbooksaturday posts, but honestly, I didn’t spend this past month quite as plugged in as usual, and so I only have the following to share…

“‘Small Treats’ Culture” from Well Good Blog
“Sometimes a £5 pastry is cheaper than losing your mind.”

What I’m watching

I’m participating in the Less Lawn More Life challenge, and this kickoff conversation with Robin Wall Kimmerer was giving me life!

What I’m doing

Beekeeping! I’m so excited, and I’ll be sharing more over time, so expect a bee-focused post soon!
